Ask Strategy for Soul Winners
Soul winning isn`t hard. As a matter of fact soul winning is easy when you know the right strategy to win others for Christ. In this blog post you will learn a simple strategy for witnessing to others in under 5 minutes.
All you have to do is ASK
When I am soul winning, if I spend more than 5 minutes talking about Christ without getting a Yes or No answer from the person I am witnessing to, I feel that I have missed God. The Lord placed a method on my heart many years ago, to getting that yes or no answer quickly and easily. The scripture reference for the A.S.K. strategy is found in Matthew 7:7 KJV Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

One of the easiest ways to get your conversation from the natural to the spiritual is to simply ask if they attend church somewhere. You will either get a yes or no answer with that question, Right? Regardless of the answer you should follow that question up with another yes or no question, and that question should be have you accepted Jesus Christ into your heart? Yes or no. It’s that easy and it only takes a few seconds.

Seek and ye shall find:
If you get a no answer from the person, then it’s time to roll out the salvation scriptures for them. If you have a bible just open it to Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God” From personal experience, you will need to show them that they are in fact lost and in need of a savior. I like to follow this scripture up with Romans 6:23 which states “for the wages of sin is death”. The person you are witnessing to needs to know that because they have sinned they are going to die one day and go to hell if they don’t change their ways. They will not make it into the presence of God, in heaven, on their own good merits. They need a savior and his name is Jesus. Ephesians 2:8-9 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Knock and it shall be opened unto you:
As a personal soul winner, you need to bring the person you are witnessing, from seeking God through Christ, to knocking on the door of salvation. In order to do this all you have to do is lead them to the door. Salvation is simple. All they have to do is repent, which means to turn around and stop sinning. This is how you knock on the door. You settle in your heart that you have repented all ready. Luke 13:3 Jesus said I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish At this stage, I generally ask for their hand. I don’t see it as flesh to flesh, but spirit to spirit. Our spirits touch through hand holding. I believe that Jesus would do the same. Don’t you? Then ask them, “are you ready to ask Jesus to save you?” 9 out of 10 times they will say yes and not no. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Now it is time to have them repeat a simple prayer that will bring Jesus into their hearts for salvation. “Father, I come before you a sinner. I ask you to save me from my sins. I repent of all of my sins right now and ask Jesus your son into my heart. I need a savior. Christ is my answer and I believe in my heart I am now saved. In Jesus Holy name Amen.” I never ask the person to confess his or her sins to me. I am not a priest. Instead I ask them to silently confess in their mind to God all of their sins. When they are done I also ask them to nod and we finish the prayer. Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved , and thy house. As anew believer in Christ, there should be no doubt in their mind that they are saved by the grace of God.
