Read 2Corinthians 4:3 KJV

But if our gospel be hid, 

The Lord has place this verse of scripture on my heart over the last few days. I have meditated on these words, chewing on them through out the last couple of days & nights, and it has become a bitter pill to swallow. Some may say, have God take it away. No, I have prayed for this burden for over 20 years. Why would I have him take it from me? My prayer now is “Lord Increase it!”

I have had to turn to my prayer closet in intercession for those lost souls that are and will be damned to a groulish hell… All because they have not heard the good news of the glorious Gopsel of Christ.

why? How is this even possible?

• Here in America there are Church buildings on every block
•  radio stations dedicated to spreading the word through out our Nation and world
• Television stations with 24 hour a day preaching and teaching of Gods word.

God Gave us some:

• Apostles
•  prophets
•  evangelists
•  pastors and
• teachers

We have the gifts of the spirit, and the whole counsil of God, through our bible.

So, why haven’t these lost souls heard the Gospel? The Good News of Jesus our Holy, Divine,and glorious Christ?

It seems virtually impossible that if someone was searching for Christ, he whom seeks will find?

If Our Gospel Be Hid,

If you will notice there is a comma after the word “hid”. Being a word smith, I believe that particular comma is Godly ordained here’s why: A comma represents to it’s reader a short pause, or to take a deep breath before continuing.

John 20:21 and 22, says, Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.

The book of Acts chapter 1 verses 4 and 5 also records these words from the lips of Jesus:

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Those four verses from the book of John And the book of Acts, are the key to the comma in our reference verse from 2 Corithians chapter 4:3.

“If our Gospel be hid,<–”.

As we learned earlier, that comma is a pause, a short break, and to take a deep breath. It is in that pause, that we find the key to personal soul winning and revival.
Jesus, commanded his disciples to stay in Jerusalem and wait for the promise of the father, which was the Holy Spirit.

What did the followers of Christ do for those ten days before Pentecost?

The scriptures doesn’t say. However, Act’s chapter 2:1 states; And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

One could speculate, that they spent their time exchanging personal reflections, sharing the many teachings of Jesus during his time on Earth and spending much time in corperate worship.

Personally, I think that they prayed.

It is when we are in the stillness of expectant prayer when you will “access the Heavenlies”, pull down strongholds and put princapalities, powers and rulers of darkness on high on the run.

It is the power through prayer, that brings you to the mind of Christ and the will of God. Prayer also brings you to an intimate relationship with God himself. A relationship that is deeper than brother and sister, husband and wife and even with ones self.

I remember one time my daughter Kristen and I went to a certain local church were she had attended  vacation bible school and thought was just just an awsome church. At the end of the sermon the pastor ask everyone to kneel in our pew and to pray for something specific for that church. I can not recall what it was. I knelt down and began to interceed for this church, then I felt a couple of hands on my shoulder and the pastor and another man, probably a deacon, was praying over me. I felt a little embarraced when I look up at the clock and saw that I had been praying for over 30 minutes, after the congregation had left the building.

What seemed to be just a few moments turn out be about 45 minutes in prayer. I know because I ask, then apologized to the pastor, because I was holding him up from locking the church building and eating lunch with his family.

If Our Gospel Be hid,

That comma is for you to get into a personal relationship with God. When you get closer to him, then you will be able to help others. Your prayers will part the unseen veil that has been covering the unbelieving individual, that has never heard the Gospel.

The Church must pray. If the church doesn’t pray then Satan will prevail. He may not win the war but he may win many battles.

If he wins the battles then there will be many lives lost and the blood of those lost souls will be on the churchs hands. I don’t think God would like that kind of casualty rate. You must set your directives, objectives and heart on the heart and will of God.

Listen to King David as he describes his souls desperate plea to be near his creator.

Psalm 42:1-2
1 To the Chief Musician. A Contemplation of the sons of Korah. As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.
2. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

Has your soul ever thirsted to return to your closet so you can come near him one more time?

The whole purpose of that comma is to get right before God. “If our Gospel be hid,” it will only be hid for a little while until you receive the promise from the Father.

How I lost 50lbs in 90 days with no fad diets or pills

I am 5’4″ & in 2004 I was weighing a whopping 190lbs. I was miserable.

Imagine…
Not being able to go on long walks with your dogs with out becoming winded. Fad diets, I had already seen many people fail at those.
I heard pills leave you feeling a little up in the air. So I decided to go with an all natural diet, meaning, no diet at all.
Your first step is to believe that you have already lost the weight.

Picture yourself 10,20,30,40,50lbs lighter already. How do you feel?

Your probably feeling pretty good at this point. Your Jeans that you bought two years ago that you only wore once, finally fit.

In November of 2003, I bought Tony Littles, Gazelle Freestyle. I used the videos that came with the gazelle for the work out.
These gave me a good footing for the gazelle tool. If you don’t have one already go to walmart.com you should be able to get the gazelle for $89.00

Use your Gazelle, as recommended. On off days you should do stretching exercises, abs, push ups ect. Do The Jack La Lane kind of exercises.

 Another change in my normal activity during The Tweet diet was:

Quit drinking soft drinks.

I was drinking at least eight a day and soda pop was the biggest culprit to my weight gain and #1 reason why I lost so much so fast. Switch to a diet soda if you have to drink one but, make it the only one during the day.

The trick to weight lose is that it took time to gain the weight and it will take time to get rid of it. You can do it, because you are more than a conquer through Jesus Christ whom strengthens you.

Throughout the ages God has had his mighty warriors. King David’s mighty warriors were nameless until they decided not to be bullied anymore by there enemies. These mighty warriors’s of God stood their ground when others in David’s army fled and God used them to spark victory after victory for Israel.

There are two accounts of David’s mighty men in the Old Testament and if you read both of these accounts back to back you will have a complete picture of these mighty warriors who fought for Israel and at David’s side. I have included

Read 2 Samuel 23:8-12

8 These are the names of David’s mighty men: Josheb-Basshebeth, a Tahkemonite, was chief of the Three; he raised his spear against eight hundred men, whom he killed in one encounter.

9 Next to him was Eleazar son of Dodai the Ahohite. As one of the three mighty men, he was with David when they taunted the Philistines gathered [at Pas Dammim] for battle. Then the men of Israel retreated,

10 but he stood his ground and struck down the Philistines till his hand grew tired and froze to the sword. The LORD brought about a great victory that day. The troops returned to Eleazar, but only to strip the dead.

11 Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel’s troops fled from them.

 12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

The Lord Brought About a Great & Mighty Victory

As you read those 5 verses above I want you to notice one thing, “The Lord Brought about a Great Victory”, for these valiant Mighty men. Each of these three men had done one thing that the other soldiers in David’s army did not… They each stood their ground and the Lord blessed them. Had the Lord not blessed each one of these mighty men they would have been killed.

How did the Lord bless these mighty warriors? He endued them with his mighty power. These men were ordinary soldiers, just like the rest of the men in David’s Army. Just like you and me. There weren’t any one of them special in their own right.

• They didn’t have an Olympian physic
• They weren’t Gigantic like Goliath
• They didn’t have any special skills other than the training that every soldier in David’s army practiced.

What made these ordinary men different from the rest of the soldiers and turn them into King David’s elite mighty men?

I can only speculate that these men might have been sitting around the camp fire one night, after a long day of special boot camp, feeling defeated at heart as well as physically because of their many retreats from battle against their enemy.

I can almost spy, when King David, arrives at their fire that night and knowing that his armies spirits had been broken, he ministers to his troops on how The Lord Brought about Great Victories, on his behalf from his youth until now.

How God endued him with his mighty power, when he was just a boy and shepherding his father’s sheep, when on one occasion a bear came out of the woods hunting one of his sheep for food.  How he jump onto this huge animal and killed this bear with his bare hands.

On another occasion,  a lion, came out from the woods and he over took the lion and killed it as well. How David defeated the mighty Goliath with a simple sling shot and a small rock.

The Lord brought about great and mighty victories on David’s behalf, and for his chosen people Israel.

You God’s Mighty Warrior

God wants to bring about great and mighty victories for you in your life today. Just like he did for David and his mighty men, he wants to bless you abundantly.

God will not give you mighty power to kill other men like; he gave King David’s mighty men. Today, we are in a new dispensation—His dispensation of “Grace”.

The scriptures reveal in 2 Corinthians 10:3–5;

3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.

 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

If you are a Christian, I have good news for you… God has already blessed you. He has already made you victorious through Christ.

Do you have a stronghold in your life?  Then friend isn’t it time to take out the sword of the spirit which is the word of God and command that strong hold through your authority that Christ has given you to be removed in his name?

1Chronicles 11:10, says;  These were the chiefs of David’s mighty men–they, together with all Israel, gave his kingship strong support to extend it over the whole land, as the LORD had promised.

Today, you as part of the Church of Jesus Christ, need to give his Kingship strong support. Israel, was to occupy the land. You and me, we are commanded to make disciples throughout the whole world. Those mighty men slewed their enemies like a pro bowler would take out all twelve pins in one swoop. We are to lead men to their deaths so Christ, can live through them.

You are God’s Mighty Warrior.

When you think of the question what’s in a name, I picture men and woman of power and influence such as, Donald Trump, President Obama, Hilary Clinton and E.F. Hutton “when he speaks everyone listens”.

You might think of others in the entertainment field such as Brad Pitt or Paris Hilton, Justin Beaber or Adam Lavine. These men and woman that I mentioned above and others like them have a certain influence in our society those that open doors that are closed to the general public.

Name Above Every Name

However, there is a name above every name from the beginning of time to the end of it and beyond eternity.  As Christians we have access to “The Name of all Names”. This name is known in Heaven and on Earth and beneath the Earth. It is a name that saves, delivers and brings healing for those whom believe.  It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor, powerful or feeble. This name will open the door to the very throne room of God.

What name is it?

Philippians 2: 9-11 explains:

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a Name which is above every name:

10 That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Ask In Jesus Name

John 14: 12-14 says:

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do ; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my Name, that will I do , that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my Name, I will do it.

I have underlined the word Ask and capitalized the word Name for a reason. I have done a word study in from my concordance on the word “ask” and I would like you to know that it doesn’t mean what I or maybe even you think it means in our English language.

Up until now, I have always thought Jesus meant for us to “ask for something or to plea on behalf of someone else in his name” like you would if you were to ask your parents for a toy or a cool new pair of shoes. However, that is not the case here.

The word “Ask” comes from the Greek word “Ahee-teh’-o” which means (4441) strictly from a demand due. Now Jesus wasn’t saying to demand from God, because God doesn’t withhold any good thing from his children.  What Jesus is saying here is that you are to demand Satan or his demons to stop their actions or operations against you in Jesus Name.

We are to use Jesus Name as a basis of authority to demand our rightful inheritance in him through his name. When Jesus walk the Earth as a man he walk, talk, preached, taught and ministered in complete authority over the flesh, the world and the Devil. And, so are we as children of light and joint heirs with Christ.

Jesus Gave The Church His Name and Authority

We see in Luke 10: 17-19 that Jesus gave the church his name and authority on this Earth and he has expected us to use his name and authority to overcome the flesh, the world and the Devil.

17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Behold , I give unto you power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

We see in verse 19, that the word power is used twice in this verse. The first “power” comes from the Greek word ex-oo-see’-ah and the second word “power” comes from the word dunamas, where we get our English word dynamite. As you can see that they are very different words.

Now you can read verse 19 like this:

19 Behold , I give unto you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus gave his church authority to tread on the Devil and all of his demons and over all of their power that they can through at us, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Do you remember the verse of scripture the devil roams the earth like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour? That is all he and his cohorts should be able to do, is just roam and roar.

Step 4 to walking in revelation knowledge is:

• Put The Word of Revelation Knowledge into Action

When you receive Revelation Knowledge from God, it is important that you act on it. When Jesus asks his disciples “who do you say that I am?” Peter, once he received that revelation knowledge from God, He Answered Jesus’ question saying, “Thou are the Christ the son of the Living God!” Peter put the word of revelation into action right away and received a blessing for it.

Now most of the time at least for myself, revelation knowledge comes while I am reading or studying my Bible. I’ll read a scripture we’ll use the above scripture as an example. Jesus, answers Peter, “Blessed are you Simon Barjona, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father which is in Heaven,” While I was writing my a post on revelation knowledge Blessed are you Simon Barjona, just jump right off the page. I pondered on that portion of scripture and chewed on it for quite some time. Peter (Simon Barjona), was a blessed man of God, after all he walk on water, he was there when Jesus fed the five thousand, He heard the voice of God and saw Jesus in all of his Glory at the transfiguration. He was the preacher that preached the message on Pentecost and 3000 were added to the church, praise God. Amen.

Another example of putting the word of revelation knowledge into action is found in Luke 5:21-22

“And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying , Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? But when Jesus perceived their thoughts (Jesus received revelation knowledge from God), he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?”

Not long ago, a friend of mine was doing some lawn care for me and we had a talk that morning about how to grow your faith. The Lord told me a little while later through revelation knowledge that he was thinking that he couldn’t get faith like I have. So out the door I went and told him that his faith will grow if he continued in the word of God and believed and practice what the word says.

Now I am going to drop a bomb on you that most Pentecostals, Charismatic’s, and word of Faith people might not agree with. Ready? Here it is…

You don’t have to be Baptized in the Holy Spirit, to receive revelation knowledge.

Revelation knowledge comes directly from God by the Holy Spirit, but you do not have to have received the gift of the Holy Spirit to get it. Got it? Good.

However, the only criteria to receiving revelation knowledge are to be born again. To accept Christ, into your heart, believe that he died on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins and rose to life again on the third day. By grace are you saved not by works lest any should boast or be prideful.

Revelation Knowledge

• Accessing the Heavenly Through Revelation Knowledge

In order to receive the fullness of God’s revelation knowledge you must with no exception access Heaven and come boldly to the throne of Grace. Hebrews 4:16 KJV.  It is there where you receive your schooling from the Holy Spirit in the instruction of hearing God’s voice and what he is revealing to you. A body builder doesn’t get massive muscles just because he wants massive muscles. No, he has to work at it every day. It takes years to build muscles the size of a Frank Zane or a Mike Mentzer.

So it is with our spirit man. It takes time and discipline to train our bodies and mind to surrender. It takes a lot of soul sweat and an overcoming tenacity to walk in the spirit. If you want to be like Jesus or any of the great men of faith throughout the ages, you need to climb the mountain like Moses did. Spend time in the stillness of God’s glory in the wilderness like Jesus did, just “be still and know he is God”.

When body builders work out, what they really are doing is tearing, stretching and ripping the muscles that they are concentrating on. When do you think those muscles begin to grow? They begin to grow in the rest and it is the same with our spirit man. It is in the rest of God, when our spirit man grows. That is why you find in the Gospels Jesus, removing himself from the multitudes and his disciples to go and pray.

I love this quote from Leonard Ravenhill; “All giants have been weak men who did great things for God because they reckoned on His power and presence to be with them”.

Pray for Revelation Knowledge like Paul Prayed

Kenneth Hagin, in his book “The Believers Authority,” gave two prayers that Paul prayed for the church at Ephesus. The first prayer is found in Ephesians chapter 1 verses 16- 23, which I have place below because it is relevant to receiving revelation knowledge. The second prayer can be found in Ephesians chapter 3 verses 14-19. Pray these prayers for yourself and on others behalf, 3 times a day. Replace the words you with ME or the person’s name you are praying these prayers for.

These are God anointed, God inspired prayers that work and the reason they work every time is because they are God’s word and his word is life, John 6: 63.

Ephesians Chapter 1

15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

 16 (I) Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you (me) the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18 The eyes of your (my) understanding being enlightened ; that ye (I) may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward (me) who believe , according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come :

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Amen

Heaven and Earth shall pass away but, my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33.

Revelation knowledge is birthed in prayer.

What Revelation Knowledge isn’t

• Put God’s word 1^st place in your heart and life

John 1:1, 14 says In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God. And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. God and his word are one and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us, speaking of Jesus.  As Christians we should put Gods word first place in our lives before anything else, you should read, study and meditate on the word of God, every day and establish his words first place in your heart and believe them, because Jesus said in Mark 12:30;

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

If you love Jesus, the way you claim to love him, doing these daily basic things would not be so hard to do. You would make the time.  I do not say this to be mean but, in loving kindness many Christians say that they love Jesus, so much that they would lay down their lives for the Gospel, yet if a service goes a few minutes over or if they miss the first half of a Sunday game… well you get my point. 1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Timothy 2:15

It is when you study you get God’s approval. We are laying up treasures in our heart that he will use. It takes work and knowing that you have God’s approval, you no longer will be ashamed of the Gospel or his name before others. God will use what you have in your heart and expound upon them and reveal to you the mysteries that he has set aside for you.

Take a close look at Luke 8:10;

And he said, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

The only way you will know these mysteries is by walking in the spirit which is the light of revelation knowledge from God. And once you begin to walk in revelation knowledge you will become stewards of the mysteries of God 1 Corinthians 4:1

Revelation Knowledge

This is a 4 part series titled 4 steps to walking in Revelation Knowledge. I was going to post this as single blog post. However it would be over 5 pages long. So, I decided to break each step up into it’s own blog post.

This series has taken me about two weeks to write because the Holy Spirit, walk me through each step. This way you will know that it is fresh, revealing and hot off the press.

What Revelation Knowledge isn’t

Revelation Knowledge is different than hearing from God. Revelation Knowledge is receiving wisdom, or information or a leading from God that you did not have knowledge of beforehand.

Revelation Knowledge is not the same as being led by the Holy Spirit of God, it is an inner knowing that just pops into your spirit and you receive your answer for whatever problem, situation or circumstance that you are involved with.

In this series of blog post “4 steps to walking in revelation knowledge” Part 1-4, you will discover how to open your heart to God’s word in order to receive and walk in his ordered steps victory for your daily life.

Are you ready to get started?

Let’s roll.

Step 1 to walking in revelation knowledge is:

• Expect the Holy Spirit to fill your inner man (your spirit), with the light of God’s word.

Have you ever wondered why your Bible is sometimes called the “Living word of God?”

Is it because it is Gods living will for man? That would be a really good guess however, it would not be entirely right, even though the bible is God’s will for man.

In Mathew 16: 13-18, Peter, replies to Jesus, question Who do you say that I am?  “You are the Christ (anointed one) the son of the living God!” Then Jesus, said to him, “Blessed are you Simon Barjona, (Peters real name), for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in Heaven”. Not only did Peter receive revelation knowledge from God, knowledge that he did not know, he also received a blessing because of it. “… And upon this Rock I will build my Church and the Gates of Hell (or the powers of death in the Greek) shall not prevail against it.”

Every Church of Jesus Christ is built upon this Rock, the solid foundational, unmovable word (Jesus is the word made flesh) of revelation knowledge.

Sunday May22- 2011, the day of the Joplin Missouri tornado, at 4 or 5PM, my wife Helen and I, went to Lowes to get some paint. Helen stayed in the car since the paint was already mixed and it was going to be a quick trip. I went into the store, found my paint on the paint counter and check out. On my way to the exit an employee met me at the door and said I couldn’t leave because the city of Osage Beach, issued a tornado warning and the manager has ask all customers to stay indoors.

“I can’t stay, my wife is out in the car”, I stated. The employee, unlock the door and allowed me to leave.

On my way out, I could feel the humidity in the air, the wind was picking up and threatening black clouds over head. On my way to the car I took authority and rebuked the storm. This time the Lord led me to only rebuke the storm where we were at. Then I pleaded the Blood of Jesus, over Helen, myself and our vehicle. We went out to eat and then headed home.

Now I want to make a point here, the reason why I had to plea the blood of Jesus, was because I had no authority over any part of that city or others property. I only have authority over myself, family and property. So, the places that I was to go, the storm would have to hold off its destruction until we were out of the area.

I still don’t think I am making this point very clear.

The best way I can explain this, is to use several passage of scripture. It would make too lengthy of a post if I inserted the scripture passage so, if you will, turn your Bible to Acts chapter 27 and read verses 10. In verse 10, we see the Apostle Paul, informing a centurion of the ship about pending danger that would come to the ship, its cargo and the lives of all that are on board. Now let me ask you, how did Paul come about this information?  That’s right, from God.

How did God communicate his message to Paul? Through the Holy Spirit, the very same way that he communicates with you and me. Spirit too spirit.

A perfect passage of scripture is found over in Mathew 16: 13-19, and this will be our foundational scripture.

Introduction to Revelation Knowledge

We find Jesus, asking his disciples “Who do men say that I the son of man am?” They answer Jesus, saying that some think he is John the Baptist or another prophet from the Old Testament. In those times many believed in reincarnation.

Then Jesus, ask them “who do you say that I am?” I picture here all of the disciples pondering this question with great concern when Simon Peter answers, “thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God”.

And Jesus, responded to Peter, “blessed art thou, Simon Barjona (Peters real name): for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee. Jesus was stating here that Peter had no knowledge of who Jesus really was by his 5 physical senses. “But by my father which is in Heaven…”

In essence, Jesus told Peter that he received revelation knowledge from God in his inner man or spirit. This is the basic way God communicates with all his children and is the foundation of his Church on the Earth, as you will see.

Jesus continues: “And I say also, unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it…” If you study these verses out you will find that Jesus is saying that upon this rock or foundation of revelation knowledge, he is going to build his church. And he did. If you read the book of Acts you will find many examples of Revelation knowledge, visions and words of prophecy just like the example at the top of this post in Acts 27:10-44, which we will get back to in just a few moment.

I wanted to lay a foundation for you of what revelation knowledge is if you don’t already know. I won’t be getting much deeper into the subject of revelation knowledge here, however, our next post is titled “6 steps to living in revealed knowledge”, and if you are hungry to discover more about it that post should be like going to buffet at Ryan’s restaurant.

Revelation Knowledge: Keys to Binding Natures Upheavals

We are talking here about rebuking storms. We are still reading from our foundational scripture Mathews Gospel 16:13-19. Looking now, at verse 19, which we find Jesus continuing;

“And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven and whatsoever you shall bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven and whatsoever you shall loose on Earth shall be loosed in Heaven”.

Jesus said from his own lips that he was going to give you (The Redeemed which is the Church), the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. You may be thinking at this moment, “Well… what good are the keys to the kingdom of Heaven, going to do me here on Earth?”

That’s a good question Let’s think about it this way, the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven is like having a master key to Fort Knox. Your master key will lock and unlock every door and vault in the building. Jesus has given you “The Key” to the Kingdom of Heaven.

“What will it lock and unlock for me here on Earth?”

Let’s take a look at the latter half of verse 18. …And the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

What the King James translates as the gates of hell here should actually read “the Powers of death” in the Greek. If you take a concordance with Greek and Hebrew lexicon, that’s what I use, you will find that Jesus has given us the keys to bind the powers of death and loose the power of God, on the Earth.

Now how does this relate to natures upheavals?

Aren’t tornados, hurricanes, earth quakes, and dangerous storms a whatsoever?

Of course it is. Jesus has given YOU the keys to bind them up by faith and loose Gods promises into your life. When the power of death looses destruction upon the Earth You can bind its destructive power in the name of Jesus and it will have to obey.

Why?

Because it is God’s word and it is impossible for God to lie. Hebrews 6:18

Take Authority Over Natures

Upheavals

We are living in dangerous times and I firmly believe that

we are living in the last days of the church age, just before Jesus returns to

the earth and takes up his 1000 year reign. Before that happens, I believe that

the church will be in her full authority and power according to his will and

word, before she is taken away from the earth.

A few years ago, the Lord revealed to me that we as

Christians have authority or power over nature’s upheavals. I was outside

watching black clouds coming in over head and the wind was blowing strong. Then

the Lord spoke to me and said, “take authority over this storm and bind it’s

destructive power”.

Without questioning I lifted my hands to heaven and said  , “Storm I take authority over you in Jesus name. I bind your

destructive powers and command you to dissipate, right now, in Jesus holy name.”

Then I walk into the house and went straight to my bible and ask the Lord, to

show me in his word for an example where someone stop a storm.

Immediately the Holy Spirit, told me that Jesus commanded

storms to stop.

Now the Holy Spirit, just told me that the following verses of scripture just came to your remembrance.

Maybe, not by chapter and but by the story. This is exactly how the Holy Spirit,

guides me most of the time.

 Before, I was able to find the

scripture, I saw from the window, the sun break through the clouds.

We find that scripture in the Gospel of Mark chapter 4

verses 35-41. Verse 37-40 will be our scripture reference for this blog post:

37:

And there arose a great storm of wind and the waves beat into the ship, so that

it was now full.

38 :

And he (Jesus), was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: And they

(his disciples), awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we

perish?

39:

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, peace, be still. And

the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40:

And he said unto them, why are you so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?

I have heard many preachers say that the Devil sent this storm to

destroy Jesus and his disciples. I think ministers and Christians give more

credit to the devil than what he deserves to be given.

I tell you the Holy Spirit, has told me that this storm was a violent

tempest that was and is normal to this day for the time of year that Jesus and

his disciples were traveling.

Full

Authority

The important thing about this story was that Jesus, step out onto

the deck of that ship, and with his full authority rebuked the wind, and hushed

the waves.

Jesus rebuked the storm. He commanded that storm to cease and

desist with full authority or power that was given to him by God in faith. Jesus

was acting in his right according to Genesis 1 verse 26. God gave dominion over

the Earth and all things on the Earth to man.

Many believing Christians think that the devil has dominion over

them because Adam committed high treason and sold out to Satan. guess what? he

don’t. He may have dominion over this world and un-regenerated man, but not

Christians or the Church of Jesus Christ, that is still God’s, as you will see

in Colossians 1: 12-13.  

Otherwise this Earth will be back to its chaos state. Our adversary

the devil, roams this Earth, like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. He

would destroy all mankind, because mankind is created in the image of God and we

remind him of God.

Authority of the Believer

Jesus said in Mathew 28-18: …

“All

Power is given unto me in heaven and in Earth”

All authority and power that Christ Jesus had has been transferred

to the Church. Jesus is the head of the church and we Christians make up the

body. In Luke Chapter 9: verse 1, Jesus call’s his disciples together and tells

them that he has given them all power and authority over devils and to cure

diseases.

“Ya, but Jesus only gave us power and authority over demons and to

cure diseases, not over storms”.

Ok, but did you notice the word

ALL?

What

does all mean? It means

All

power

and authority that Jesus has, we the true believers of Christ have and the

Church has completely. The

Holy Spirit, just laid that on me just now. Wow! What a word of knowledge from

God.

The Church has complete authority and power, just like Jesus had

when he was on the Earth.

Individual believers make up the body of Christ. Now when the Body

of Christ comes together in unity, we become the Glorious Church that has All

Authority and Power and Anointing that Christ has and more because Jesus, said

in John 14 verse 12,

“… he that

believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than

these shall he do, because I go unto my Father”.

Now if one believer can command a storm and bind its

destructive power and let me tell you there are many Christians that do this in

faith besides myself, for the protection of their property and family how much

more will the Church be able to do in their Community, County, State and Nation,

once she begins walking the revelation of her full authority & power in Christ?

The Joplin Missouri, tornado would have been just a little

drizzle.

The tsunami that caused so much destruction in the East

would have been a little burp.

And all of the hurricanes that plaque our coasts since 2006

on the Atlantic would be reduced to a rain storm.

Can you see her?

Who?

The Church in all of her authority, power, anointing and

Glory!
